TOP STOP® - The solution!

How many times have we had to receive a patient without an appointment because of problems with the wire?
TOP STOP keeps the arch in its place and protects both ends, so it is imposible that wire ends can hurt a patient.

Placement TOP STOP®

PLACEMENT ON PIPE MOLAR SOLDIERS FROM A BAND

Fill the arch in the molar tube. Cut the arc, leaving 2-3 mm protruding from the tube (we can take as a reference distal molar).
With the help of a kind pincer Mathieu put the cap of TOP-STOP covering the outstanding end of the arc. With the clamp to pull the eye of the TOP-STOP surrounding the tube and check that it is securely attached.  TOP-STOP is placed.

PLACEMENT OF TUBES ON CEMENT DIRECT

Place the bow so that we can calculate the length of it. Cut the arc, leaving 2-3 mm protruding from the tube (we can take as a reference distal molar).
Rodear el tubo con la anilla del TOP-STOP, dejando la boca del capuchón hacia el molar. Surround the tube with the ring of the TOP-STOP, leaving the mouth of the cap toward the molar.  TOP-STOP is placed.

OTHER WAY EASIER WHEN WE USE BONDING TUBES

  1. Pass de archwire through the ring of the top-stop with the opening of the cap towards the molar.
  2. Pass the archwire through the molar tube.
  3. Cut the archwire 2-3 mm distally to the molar tube.
  4. With the help of a holder type Mathieu, place the cap of the top-stop so it covers the projecting archwire end.
